Last Saturday evening, I checked my mail-box and found a message left by Astra, my first dear friend here in my city. I thought there would be sth. bad happened to her according to her message and gave her a phone call immediately.
Fortunately, it was not that bad. I then asked Astra what her plan for the coming Sunday was. She told me that she would go and participate in the English Corner. What??! I thought there was sth. wrong with my ears 'cos I'd never heard of it after graduation. It soon aroused my interest after Astra confirmed the existence of 'the English Corner' and we made a date to go there together the next morning.
It is said that the English Corner is in a cafe with the name of 'The City's Garden' which opposite to the Yingbin Park. We found it without any difficulty since it was very near my office. Just when we got the 2nd floor, we saw to our great surprise that there were at least 30 people there including little boy students, colleague students, business men, teachers, etc. chatting in English. Cool~~it was a 'real' English Corner.
