these people make me sick

There are three HK colleagues live in upstairs of our dormitory,we are sharing one network.recentely,they thought their computers are not so fast even slower than mine that makes them a little bit unhappy,so they decided to make some change ,they called network engineer to bought 3 cables and set up from my apartment to upstairs and changed the router.
Actually, I don't think the network how slow,maybe because the former router was installed in my apartment since they are HK guys have no bank account inland so need to use my domestic bank account to apply the network from China Telecom and deduct mony from my account every month,so installed the equipment in my house,every month we 4 people AA the cost.
Then they probably think I took over most of the flow,so bought a new router which can assign the flow replace the former one,ok,I have no comment on it,But depressed thing is,they asked me to split the bill with them for the changes, I don't think it's reasonable!
They bought new router,bought cables and materials,actually it's none of my business, I have no any benefits from it,it even lead my computer more slowly than bofore since the flow distribution,alright, I have no words to it,but how could I paid for them?althought the fees were not much,but really made me unpleasant.
I gave my share to them yesterday per their request without speak anything, I think there were no need talk to them,these people make me sick.

- I am Hong Kong resident too, but some of the HK residents are real bonkers or smart asses so to speak. What you did was perfectly fine. You don't have to pay anything because you are not at fault and they upgraded the on their own initiative without your prior payment agreement.
Just disregard them and do what is necessary.
