Last week, my husband brought back a set of game equipment called Wii.He had mentioned it for several times before he bought it and the main purpose of buying it is to offer a special way of entertainment for our son who is really a game lover. We both agree that if we can not change the status-quo that our son loves game and often indulging himself in games for more than one hour which surely will do harm to his eyesight and health, what we can do is to find out another way of recreation. Wii, a game integrates recreation and physical training is our top choice.

The fact is that Wii is more attractive than we had thought. My son, my husband and I become Wii lover in several days. Besides the routine games which are similar with computer games (such as car racing), Wii have more interesting and healthy PE games. We can play games to enhance balance capability, rhythm sensation, power of body and etc. My husband’s favorite is playing balls(including tennice,baseball,bowling,golf);my son love boxing and fishing; I like to play Yoga，jogging and some small games which can help me with balance. Those PE games are very well designed, offering beautiful scene, pretty cartoon figures and wonderful music. And the most humanistic design is time reminding. When our sport time is accumulated to half hour, Wii game will remind us that it is enough for today. Of course, we can continue any games if we like, but this reminder is sweet.

The equipments are very simple,include a host, a balanced board(induced board)two or three Wii Remote and game DVDs. Maybe some games need other attachment.Except PE games, Wii have developed some other novel games such as cooking, doing scientific experiments and etc. We brought some and now are downloading some. Wii is really a nice family-suited game.
