Because my home is quite far away from my office, going on/off duty looks like a small journey. Almost every morning, I stop by a small shop inside metro station and buy a kind of fish sushi roll as my breakfast. It is my favorite due to its good taste and reasonable price. As an old customer, I will receive a smile form saleswoman every time I appear in her shop．

But today is different, when I brought a tunny sushi roll, she looked so indifferent. She didn’t smile to me, and didn’t smile to anybody picking up her sushi beside me. Feeling a little bit surprised, I supposed that she behaved like this is because that she was too busy this morning. Then I asked her to heat my sushi roll by microwave oven as usual. What further surprised me is her unwillingness to help me and said:“well, you know, it is too cold outside, I am afraid it will take you more than 10 minutes to wait. It is really difficult to be heated”. I am shocked and said:” but usually it will only cost 30 seconds”. Possibly realized how ridiculous her words are, she made some explanation for her bad service, in an indirect way. “ Ms.” She said:” the bad news is that our shop will be closed at the beginning of 2010.” “why?” I asked:” your shop is so popular here and many office staff members like your shop”. “It is true,” she said:” but MTR Corporation Limited swept us out, all the shops here have the same fate with us”.

At that moment, I know why the saleswoman is unhappy and show such a cold face to us. She will lose her job soon. I feel sorry for losing a good place for breakfast, and more for this saleswoman. Maybe the metro station will look more and more neat in the future, but changes are not always be welcomed.
