Yesterday, I was shocked to know that the Deputy Director of our department, also the boss who was directly in charge of my work, got a promotion and will leave our office soon. He is a very nice director and has been treating me very good for more than 9 years. I had thought that I could work under his supervision for another several years, but all in a sudden, he will leave, without any sign in advance. I think I should feel happy for his promotion, but at the same time, I feel a little bit sad. Working environment is very important and it will take me some time to fit the work style of the new director whose character or temperament is still unknown to me.
