Do you care the time you spend on the way to work?
There will be a change regarding my work a short period later. I will work in another campus of our university twice a week. Our director told me that it was of great possibility that I would be fixed in this new office one or two semesters later. Frankly speaking, it is not a bad thing for me from the perspective for personal development because the new job assigned for me is both interesting and full of challenge. Though encouraged by the awareness of the fact that the working experience there may broaden my horizon, I am frustrated by another realistic problem-the long time I will spend on the way. The new office is very far from my home and it will take me about three hours and half on the road per day, which means in the following days I need to get up at 5:30AM and arrive at home about 6:45PM. It is a kind of torture for me because the current working place only requires one hour and half on road to work every day. Maybe I will get used to it, but…Dear friend, do you care about the time you spend on the way to job?

- Time is so precious,and it's regrettable to do nothing during the perior for time on the way. You can do something interesting you are desired of to completely utilize the time, and you will feel how time flies.

- I hate to crowd in the public bus. Too many people and sometimes may contain a thief. So if the company has the commuting bus, I will choose if first. Like now, I catch the commuting bus to the company, though the work place is a little far, I didn't care it for the bus.

Painful, right?

- I do care. But we have to balance the importance between the job and your time you'll spend on it. If the job is really worthy, then just take it and figure out some methods to kill the time. Geting up early is a good thing, anyway.

- it's a trick question. i have the similar problem as you(my commute takes about an hour and i already find it unbearable), now we bought a house close to the place where I work, but it's a realistic solution because my husband and i work in the same neighourhood. Here I can only wish you good luck!

I have never thought there would be such a big change regarding my work. Two years ago, we brought a relative bigger apartment which is comfortable and make the whole family happy. My son's school is also close to our new house. I hate to change house again though the future commute is painful...

I think it's okay to get out in the fresh air of summer daybreak. While it's real pain to get up and feel the way to work in winter's dark cold morning.

- Maybe u can do something meaningful or interesting on the bus such as listening English MP3 or reading a wonderful book.
