The next time you reach for a glass of water, remember this; you could be about to sip on dinosaur pee.

This is according to science YouTube channel, Curious Minds, which explains that the amount of water on the Earth has remained roughly the same for millions of years.

Around 121,000 cubic miles of water falls on the Earth in the form of precipitation every year, meaning this water has moved around the planet.

The Mesozoic era, the reign of the dinosaurs, lasted around 186 million years.

'That gave them time to drink a lot of water,' the video explains.

By contrast, humans have only been living on Earth for 200,000 years.

Charles Fishman says in in his book, 'The Big Thirst' that the molecules that make up water are so resilient, they could be millions of years old.

A member of Curious Minds added: 'Most of the water molecules have never been drunk by another human, but almost every single one has been drunk by a dinosaur.'

'This means that in every glass of water you drink, there is a lot of water which has already passed through a dinosaur and come out the other end.'
“这意味着你喝的每杯水里都有不少是恐龙喝下去又排出来的。”

The book 'The Future of Water: A Startling Look Ahead,' by Steve Maxwell and Scott Yates comes to a similar conclusion.

'The water that dinosaurs drank is the same water we drink today, and the amount of water in the world is the same, too,' the authors write.

'Fossil fuels get burned and are gone forever. Water remains.'
“化石燃料燃烧后就永远消失。而水却一直存在。”

Last I heard (recent news report on science) every time I take a breathe, I breath in a molecule of air that was breathed in my grandfather 100 years ago.  Or your grandfather.  I've not done the math on that one to see if it could be right.  I do know that we need 10 acres of land to support one person (in part because 9.5 cares of that is not good for growing crops . . . too hot, too cold, too rocky, too covered by ice, etc.)  That is, we need 0.5 acres per person of farmland.  Unfortunately, 15 years ago, we only had 7 acres per person.  Sounds like a potential problem!

We are quite worried about our living environment, especially here in China because of the serious pollution. All kinds of resources are in risk. I can't imagine if this get worse, how ill-being the environment will be for our descendants.

Don't worry. After so many years, the dinosaur pee is clean enough to drink

Yeah, I was breathing air in China for four weeks this spring, good and bad.  I'm also a scientist and edit research papers on this topic occasionally.  There's a big difference between the US and China and many similarities as well.  Both countries developed bad air pollution.  I remember not seeing the sky some days in California as a child, for example, and have traveled through US towns were breathing was not an option (the air was terrible).  When things get bad, the get attention, and I think that's about to happen in China.  The difference is that in the US we are working on making our pollution worse again.  We cleaned things up some, and now the pressure it leaning against the environmentalists and in favor of the polluters who think it is too costly to keep things clean.  We will have to really screw it up again before the pendulum swings the other direction (=things change from worse to better).  China, on the other hand, has the power to make big changes quickly while the US does not usually.  For example, in China, when they build a bullet train track or a new road, it happens quickly.  In the US, we will never have true bullet trains (especially interstate bullet trains) in my life time and they would take 20 years to build IF we decided to build them.  Rather than fix bad roads, the state of Tennessee posted signs saying "Potholes ahead for the next 20 miles" on THEIR BIGGEST and most heavily used highway.  In China, it would be four lanes wide (in each direction) and brand new.  In Tennessee it is two lanes (in each direction) and you have to slow down to a crawl to avoid destroying your car!  Our infrastructure is going to pot while we try to rebuild countries we bombed and give them weapons they now can use against us (because the Iraq Army let ISIS (other Iraqis) take them without a fight).  How stupid can you get?  You leave a bunch of tanks and weapons with someone who simply hands them over to the bad guys while your own country goes to pot.  We in Arkansas are probably going to get toll roads (pay as you drive) because we refuse to increase taxes (state and national) and pay for repairs!  We have the best politicians we voted for, but we vote for really bad politicians for really bad reasons.

What is pee? And what is water?
Give out their composition, Please.
After analysing, you will find the words are not right.
