A real story making me cry

A young man died of cancer and he devoted the whole body to our society. It is a real story from my hometown and the young man is the former classmate of my sister.
The link above is all the story. After reading the news I cried. I do not know why. Is it too clear or close to me? Am I moved by his great behavior? Or their love story touch me so much? Maybe partly, but not exactly. The point is his words on paper. They are so real and powerful that reminds me of the feelings when losing a dear family. The tears are both for his dear familis and daring, and him the brave boy who have to leave his daring at last, no matter how unwilling he is.
I could understand him.
