It is sad (and slightly intriguing) how officials in different parts of China behave and treat their fellow citizens differently.<div><br></div><div>North and Southeast regiions tend to be violent sometimes, as you can find through past news stories. The Center/Middle regions don't seem to have officials going to such extremes.<br></div><div><br></div><div>I'm guessing the different sub-cultures from the different regions end up deciding how the people in official positions behave. And without a culturally enforced awareness of "rule-of-law" the officials in someplaces become the law, which varies based on their behavior.<br></div><div><br></div><div>The USA is different, because the country started with the "rule-of-law" as its basis. However if we keep letting our congressmen and executives ignore the "rule-of-law" the USA will degrade to what other nations are like.<br></div><div><br></div><div>As far as the regional behaviors, I suppose it is no different than in the USA. (For example one can see in American movies the portrayal of officials in different parts of the USA, written and acted differently.)<br></div>
