Last week, it is really busy, almost for every day, we had two customers to visit our factory, and we need to 

meeting with them. So my colleagues and I planed to climb the national forest park of Guanyin mountain 

to relax ourselves on that sunday. 

Last sunday, we got up as usual and hired a car to take us to the Guanyin mountain which is located in 

Zhangmutou town. The weather is fine, and the sun is not so hot, We started the climb at about 9 a.m 

from the park entrance at the foot of the mountain. The park has many mountains, and the 

avalokiteshvara is located at the top of one mountain which is at the ending of the park. There is a 

winding road up the mountains, which is called Foguang road, walking along this road you can go straight to the Guanyin mountain. There are also have buses travel among the mountains. Some visitors took bus 

to worship avalokiteshvara, but for us, we chose to walk to visit avalokiteshvara, so that we can take 

some photos with beautiful scenery. We walked on the mountain path and chatted with each other. Finally, 

we arrived at the top of Guanyin mountain through two and half hours walking. So many people were 

lighting scented candles and worshipping avalokiteshvara, we were taking photos with it. Here attached 

the avalokiteshvara for your review, this is the world's largest basalt avalokitesvara, it is composed by nine 

hundred and ninety nine pieces of basalts, about thirty three metres high, and weight more than three 

thousand tons. 

Time flys fast, we walked on the Foguang road and backed to the entrance, it was almost15;30 p.m, every 

one was very hungry, so we took the bus to the centre of town and found an Hunan restaurant for the 

lunch, after lunch we came back to dormitory. 

better then them, maybe my recovery ability is stronger than them after one night rest. Haha...
