An undesirable reply

I work for two bosses in my department, one is smart and act very fast, brings me pleasantness and a lot of convenience at work, the other is dilatory and muddleheaded, poor at making orders and always make me do a lot of work in vain. The work from two bosses has already made me overstressed and weary, the existence of the silly one even add fuel to the flames. I feel I cannot stand it any more, so I determined to escape from that troublesome boss sooner or later. Here is a chance. One of my colleauges resigned, so our director has to hire another one. The most important is the leave of that colleauge will surely add burden to my work for he once acted as a great helper when my work was up to my neck. So I expressed my strong wish to my director to serve only one boss after the new comer comes. My director agreed, but not told me who I will serve in the future. Being afraid of being throwed to the boss I dislike, I think I must told the director my preference. Before doing so, I decided to communicate with the boss I like first, for only if her attitude towards me is possitive, can I have more possibilities of shaking off the other one. My confidence of getting her fovorable answere is well-founded for I believe I am an very responsible and diligent subordinate to her with consistent high-quality work. So I sent her a message in which I told her a new comer is sure to come and expressed my hope to work only for her, asking whether she is willing to accept me as her exclusive assistant. I wished her answere was yes and I could even receive some good comments. To my surprise, her reply is official and cold: " Our director hasn't told me anything about the new colleauge. Let‘s obey to leadership." On viewing those words, one sentence jumped into my mind： The greater the expectation is, the stronger the disappointment is. Although my heart got stung a little bit, I have to accept the truth that my "beloved boss" doesn't love me as I imagined, I am not such "popular" in her eyes. What I am gonna do next? I feel confused.

- Indeed some managers and administrators are incapable and that affects the efficiency and work flow of those under them. No self respecting staff would want to work under an undesirable boss. You have indicated your wish to work with your effective boss and your wish is totally justified, sensible and respectable, so your boss should have agreed to your request. However, sometimes the decisions management makes are could be quite strange. Well, it would be difficult to predict the outcome, so all you can do now is to wait and see what happens. Hope your wish can come true.

- If you are not happy in your work place, I think you maybe change your boss.The disappointment made anyone sad. But maybe this is a chance.If you have ability, you can fire your boss, just like me,haha, I have fired my boss.Good luck.
