<b>It has been 13 years since I posted my first blog and seven years since I posted my last blog on dioenglish. How time flies!<div>The reason why I didn’t update all these years is very simple, I forgot my ID and passport. And today I recalled them And logged in successfully. It is amazing!<div>And today I want to write something about the social media ,something that we cannot ;live without Nowadays.Some studies show that people are not as happy as they used to be since the invention of the social media. Because in the times when the social medias did not come into being, the only way for us to know the updates of our friends is to meet face-to-face or to write letters or emailing. But now, We can know this information almost everywhere every time. No matter you want to know it or not, All of the contents posted on all sorts of social medias are pushing you to know. If you and your friends have common friends ,you also have peer pressure to know all of your friends updates. If you refuse to know, you were appear to be not friendly. And social medias can also  trigger psychological imbalance . all of these factors mentioned above make people become more anxious than ever before.</div><div>;“Hey look ！her son has been accepted by Harvard. Go and give her a like！”</div><div>“you know ？Nancy had a trip to Europe .Her pictures were so nice and beautiful！just have a look! she is challenging you ，right？”</div><div>“She’s much uglier than me ,why her husband is much more tall and handsome than mine!”</div><div>;“I have been studying drawing for decades, My friend is just an amateur. But just look at his drawing posted on WeChat. I can’t believe my eyes ! even better than mine.”</div><div>;“ He had very poor academic performance in university and once bullied me, how could he afford to buy a luxurious house and has many celebrities as neighbors! God is unfair”</div><div>Everybody has the need to be seen. But if we don’t take it rationally. The social media will become a platform filled with comparing and vanity pursuing.<</div><div>Because we all know ，comparing is a joy killer. Although we are all kind in nature ,in our deep minds,we all don’t want the people surround us lead a better life than we do ，or more charming than we are. And we also need to be cautious when we receive many likes on social media. some friends who have given you likes are really happy for you . But others dont. They may feel jealous but still give you likes ,only  because they fear for you Or they don’t want to upset you because you are so “close ”Literally ,for example ,you are Colleagues in one office. A small group of people who have given you likes are even more tricky. They just want to lead you to view their space and make you feel jealous about them. For example，You have posted many good pictures of a vacation，And A friend of you just gave you a like, and this force you to view her space，And you could see her pictures of her own vacation. She may have been to nicer places than you do or she looked better than you on her pictures，and you may feel inferior. In another case, you posted an update of your promotion to a group leader, And then soon you found that your highschool classmate has become a chief leader of a prestigious company. you may feel jealous. You could have not known this if you did not view his space. You have hundreds of friends why you choose him ;to view,?  That is only because he has just given you a like!.</div><div>You would say not all the people are so narrowminded and pain pursuing. But I would like to say comparing is the human nature which we cannot resist, No matter you like it or not. More friends you add to your WeChat, More obvious the negative impacts of the social media will have on you. Social medias will keep challenging our bottom line of being a broad minded person. So that may be the sin of the social medias. </div><div>So let‘s never forget where we started .why we begin to use social media？To show how good we look ？how able we are ？how well we are living or how expensive a handbag we possess？or, just to share our best sides in a most proper way.</div><div>when you have the impulse of posting updates on social medias，you may start to ask these questions，Am I going to showoff or to share ？or both？How people may feel on viewing my updates？Is it worthwhile enough to share？oh,I just Can t control it !I must share otherwise I cannot fall asleep tonight! But if I do post , how will my clients view me ?how will my colleagues view me? Will they bring me bad lucks if they dont feel good?It is often such a contradicting and painstaking mental process. So that can explain why some users choose to post nothing anymore or even shut the access of their space.</div><div>In workplace ,social medias are not essential either.I  have been working in a company for 10 years Until this month. And i must say that my work can go very smoothly with emails and calls，We have both domestic and overseas clients but we seldom use WeChat to Communicate. If you add Your clients ‘WeChat，It is not gonna Enhance your relationships, instead,it is the Beginning of a nightmare. Your clients can find you Anywhere at any time and you Have no reason to rest. You may even miss the deadline if you don’t view their messages in time. And he even may feel angry if you didn’t give him a like on WeChat. The fact is that you already Spent eight hours on the work he assigned to you and have no time to view his updates. And there’s another issue need to be considered. Because you have very limited time of browsing all the updates of your friends，if you accidentally give more likes to client A than to client B. And they are common friends, How will client B feel? Sometimes we lose a client but we even dont know the reason , It’s the social media to blame not us. It’s part of the human nature for a lot of people that they do care who don’t give them likes and how much likes they can get.</div><div>In my view，we could even lead a better life without any social media.</div></b>
