I am so busy these days.I have promised to help my colleague translate one chapter of an English professional books into Chinese used for his dissertation proposal. There are about 100 pages. It will take me about 20 days to complish.

 

There are about three reasons that I agree to his request.One is that he is my section chief. He is very kind, and puts on no official airs.We get long well with each other and he is just like my brother.He helps me a lot not only  in the job, but also  in how to communicate with the leader and other colleagues.The other is that the book that I will translate is closely related my future work content. Translation is a slow course in which I can learn a lot about the professional knowlege as well as the English expressions. Another is that I want to do things related to English. During the course, I practice translating skills that I have learned.In the begining, however, I was worried that what I will translate is not belonged to me if these articles will be published and that it will cost me so much time. But I persuade myself and straighten out my thinking that help him is to help myself.

 

In the past two days, I translate about 2000 chinese characters per day. Come on!
