In this evening, when i was on the metro of my way to the part-time job, I sat besides a foreigner.He was a man of about forty. He looked like a european.He was busy seaching his Iphone for the digital map of the Beijing subway.

 

I got up my courage to say hello to him.The result felt out of my expectation.It was not more difficult than i expected.We had a wonderful conversation.

 

I knewed that he was a frenchman and he came to China single for a visit for a couple days. We talked about Beijing and the great changes of China.When it came to the visit,he said he loved traveling and now it was much cheap about the air ticket.He prefered  franc  to  euro.

 

What did he impress me most was that in the beginning,he frankly and confidently confessed he couldnot speak Chinese  even a word, and so he had to speak english.English is also his second language, and even his pronunciation is not good. But he tried speaking as much as he could.And there were many mistakes in our conversation. But these didnot effect our conversation. We could mostly undersand each other.I think it is the aim of language.It gave me the courage to face more foreigners in future.Just try!
