The first time I saw the children, I was very surprised. In such a large, bustling city, to still find a group of children like this, dustier than a bunch of farm kids, and with such poor conditions for learning! At first it was hard to get used to. After one morning of teaching, I was exhausted! But I was also touched by the students' desire to learn, and above all by their sincerity. And they were so cute! I also thought of how disadvantaged these children are compared to other children, even those living in the same city. Why can't they have private tutors, or language teachers from foreign countries? From these thoughts I decided I needed to do something for them, and since then I have come to teach them every week. Eventually, it became a kind of habit, and I came to love the children of Tiannan Elementary. Now I can't let them go!

I consider it my good fortune to have been able to leave my footprints in their world. I want to thank them! I also want to tell the foreign teachers how much I admire them. They give a selfless love to a bunch of kids from another country. Though our cultures and our languages are different, the love we feel for the children is the same. Thank you!

刚刚看到孩子们的时候, 我感到非常的吃惊. 在这么大,这么繁华的城市里,原来还有这么一群孩子, 他们甚至比农村的孩子还要脏, 教学条件是那么的差! 当时真的很不习惯. 一个早上的课上下来, 很累! 但孩子们认真, 渴望求知的眼神深深的触动了我的内心. 他们是那么的纯真, 那么的可爱! 同样是生活在同一个城市, 为什么他们不能像其他同龄孩子一样, 有家庭教师,学英语时有外国老师给他们上课呢? 从那一刻起我觉得我应该为他们做点什么. 所以我每个星期都坚持去教他们, 慢慢的变成了我的一种习惯. 突然发现我爱上了天南中学的孩子们,离不开他们了!    对于我们的外国老师, 我很钦佩他们! 他们把无私的爱给了一群异国的孩子. 虽然我们有不同的文化, 不同的语言,但我们对孩子的 "爱" 是一样的.谢谢你们
