We have graduate thesis classes this semester.All the things the teacher emphasised are following the model essay,observeing the homogeous standard format and trying your best to copy without discovered by your professor and the computer.

I have read some academic papers and i know those papers are required with  quantity and in quality.However, it is common phenomenon that most are up to standard of enough words while they are really poor in the content.

Academic writing usually has sevsral big parts. If we are given a topic  "Advertisement English and Its Translation",we are supposed to write first:brief introduction,second features of English advertising,third rhetorical devices in advertisement in English and fouth inter-translation of advertisement between Chinese and English.In the first three parts, we can easily make it because of its objective that we have nothing creative put on them.We just need to search the Internet and restructure the sentences to ensure that we are not plagiarizing.

It is ture that academic papers should be strict in forming.But that could not be the reason that the teacher quit encouraging students to be creative .What is worse,the teacher even teaches us how to copy.That is really worrying.
