I don’t know why that I happened to write something about our New year Eve, maybe yesterday, I checked the air ticket via site at the time of this year’s Christmas to Hong Kong, too much expensive.

New Year’s Eve is the time when bid farewell to the old year and welcomes the new.  When they bid farewell to the old year, we sincerely hope that the bad luck and misfortune will be gone, when we welcome New Year, they wish for the good luck and prosperous year ahead.

Generally speaking, New Year Eve is the busiest day for our dad and mum, within this day, we must finish all the work that is taboo to do in the following days, such as an entire cleaning house, paste the Spring Festival Couplet and all the jobs that need to be done with scissors, most importantly, the family reunion dinner must be prepared, which is an auspicious and rich meal of the year, in dinner, we should give our wishes for next year, part of the food should be left, for example, the fish which symbolizing we all have sufficient food and money every year. 

I always have the memory that my family get together to enjoy our joy New Year Eve from when I was a kid, so happy.

For last year, I felt a little sad that I didn’t have dinner with my dad, mum and younger brother on New Year’s Eve, and I went to my honey’s hometown and have New Year Eve dinner with my mother-in-law and father-in-law, it’s hard to express my feeling on my first New Year Eve that I didn’t go back home.  I am homesick.  For this year, I am sure I will be better.
