Now, I am a volunteer in a program called Premier Minister Program, which is held between the Embassy of UK and the Education Administration. Some students from Britain who just graduate from high school is learning Chinese and Chinese culture in our school.
Actually, most of have arrived last Saturday, but since a girl was ill, she set off a little bit late than others. The teacher asked me pick up her in the airport. What a drag! The plane landed at 2:25pm, but I saw her at about 4:30pm. My God! How come? Why it was so complicated? I have been standing there, holing a paper for such a long time. Poor me! Well, I also met some disgusting and abnormal guys.
Fortunately, I met her at last, a nice and pretty girl.
We had a campus tour after we arrived in our school. After having our dinner, I planned to take my dormitory. She lives in the best apartment for our school’s oversea students, which is pretty luxury when compared with our shabby ones. But when we entered my dorm, she was forbidden to go into it. I asked the guard why. She just said it is the rule and she was not clear about it. She told me no foreigners are allowed to enter it.
I really can’t understand it. It’s so ridiculous. Our school’s living condition for the Chinese students is rather terrible. 6 people share one tiny room, without bathroom or washroom in it, let alone some other equipment.
Why foreigners are forbidden? Is it because our school is afraid that may break the “nice” image in their mind or think some may be spies? Ridiculous!
