Cooking is just not my cup of tea

Today is Sunday. But for me,I have no Sunday this week.
I had six classes today , two BEC classes and Japanese classes in the morning ,and then two oral classes in the afternoon. I enjoyed all the classes .
My foreign teacher Arthur assigned some homework to us---tell something about the Chinese food ,and how to make the Chinese dishes.
It's kinda a little difficult for me cos cooking is just not my cup of tea (I ' m not good at cooking). I just can cook the fried tomatoes with eggs. My brother often said ,"You are old enougn to learn to make the dishes by yourself , it's about time to be indenpendent ." Food comes first .（民以食为天）。
I tried to learn but the food I cook is not so delicious .
Next week I may have to make a presentation about how to do a certain kind of Chinese food . It's really a difficulty for . Now I wanna get some help from you guys all, my dear friends . All kinds of Chinese food is OK , it would be better if the dishes is not so complicated to make. Help me ...and give me some peices of advice. Many thanks

- Last week,I learnt a methord of cooking soup with crucian.You know,soup is very good for girls.
First,to prepare the material inlcuding:a fresh crucian,scallion,gingger and gourd.
Second,put the cooking oil into the frying casserole when it is heat.Then throw the scallion and gingger cut for pieces into it.About half minute,place the clean fresh in to fry for a while.Then water to it for about two bowls and put on the cover.
Third,after twienty minutes,find out whether the color of water is becoming milky white.If so,you can add the gourd and boil for ten minutes.
Finally,a delicious and nutritious soup is finished.I have no chance to practice it but will cook a dish on holiday。
