My ideas about the Internet

With the development of science and technology , Internet plays an increasing important role in our daily life that we almost can not live in a normal style without the Internet .
The Internet brings us a lot of convenience and benefits . Today ,millions of people use the world wide web tho send emails , store and search information , study online , do online shopping and so on . In addition to the advantages mentioned above , also we can make friends from all over the world , the old and new faces .
We can chat and see friends by video chatting but have no need to visit in person .
Every coin has two sides . The Internet also has its own disadvantages . For example , some students are addicted in computer game and some other unhealthful website , which do harm to their phsycal and mental health . What 's worse , some of which may drop out of school as the side effect of the Internet . The Internet also resulted in some online criminal cases , which make our society our of order . Some hackers creat virus to invade others ' computer for some pravite information .
In my opinion , we should make fully and good use of the Internet so that we can benefit from it . We 'd better litmited our time to surf the Internet and click useful website . Only use the Internet in a correct way can we benefit from it and make more progress .

I couldn't agree more. Yeah, every technology has its winners and losers, for example, advanced technology of biology, radioactivity and the virtual reality also have strengths and weaknesses. As a double-edged sword, the proper usage and well-contronled development of techonology have disturbed human beings for long. Just as you mentioned, some malevolent hackers create innumerous virus which can invade into the computers of others for steeling private information. Moreover, the recent Google event also alerts us that while benefiting from the convenience and abundant information provided by the Internet, we may also risk our privacy security, unwillingly helping commercial companies to get important information without being acknowledged. Therefore, under any circumstances, we should hold an objective view towards the Internet and also towards other various kinds of new technologies. This does not mean that we should try to avoid or get rid of them, but that when enjoying the benefits created by modernization, we should be careful and maintain the awareness of protecing our unalienable rights.

- waywendy: yeeeeeeeeep. Thanks for your support .I consciously want to sufr something meaningful, news about sceience, techonology or related to the courses that I take. But sometimes the junk information is so overwhelming that you tend to move your cursor onto the icon and then click unconsciously. What about you?

Well , now I sometimes visit my two blogs , DIO and another one named Baidu space . And I also use the Internet to rearch information , watch films , log on QQ , MSN and Skype these chatting software , but I don't like playing computer games . But in deed , the Internet brings me a lot of convenience that I almose can hardly live without it . It has become a part of my life . lol
