Which wedding style would you like ?

Different countries have different wedding customs , even the custom maybe different in a same country . A western style and a traditional Chinese one , which would you like best . Let me tell something I know about their characteristic .
In China, marriage is considered to be one of the most important things in one 's life . Now the legal age for a girl to get married is 20 and for the boy is 22 .
The color red plays a vital role in a Chinese wedding . Red is regarded as a lucky corlor , therefore , everything is in red ----wedding invitations , gift envelopes , double Xi and wedding dress . When choosing the date for the wedding ceremony , a traditional Chinese couple is very picky . Most Chinese families choose their wedding date according to the calendar . Dates with lucky number eight are set to be a wedding date for most of time cos the Chinese pronunciation "ba" sound as "fa" , means facai (that is fortune , make a lot of money).
The wedding banquet is probably the most important part of the Chinese wedding . It is said the male side pay for the bill , but others said it is not . I don't know clearly about the controvercy . The guests who are invited to the banquet always bring gifts . Placing money in a red envelope as gift is commonly seen , because the newlywed can buy whatever they want with the money .
And on the wedding day , the new couple will eat some lotus seeds , red dates and peatnuts , means have a lot of sons .
While in western countries , a girl is old enough to get married when she is 16 , as long as their parents don't say no . Before a man and a woman get married , they usually date each other for a year or so . The wedding is hold in the church . When the women gets engaged , her female friends often give her a bridal shower . While the day before the wedding day , a brideroom to be 's male friends often give him a bachelor party to celebrate the last day of being single .
The bride usually wears a white wedding dress . After they return from their honeymoon , the newlyweds usually live on their own . They may face with many problems and they need to solve them alone . The register and the wedding are happened in the same day .
The Chinese wedding style is quite different from a westen one . Which would you like ? Do you know more about the wedding customs ? If you do , please tell me more about them , either the Chinese or a western style is ok . Thanks
