Take me for instance, when I am busy doing my research in the lab and have no time to do anything else, I would make many plans and tell myself what I should do in the rest time. However, if I really have spare time to do something, I would play games or watch movies rather than read a book. When I come back to do research, I will regret that I haven't finished my work. But I will do the same thing next time although I have realized the condition. Very ridiculous, isn't it? Maybe this is the difference between the ordinary people and the successful people.We all know that this is a society full of temptation and many people form a contorted value. What most people pursuit is not actually a right and proper thing, but it may have great influence on you and can make you change your sense of value easily. It is very terrible because this is the so-called civil quality. It is dominated by our culture and will have great effects upon our culture,too. Several days ago, I read a news about the different national value between the Chinese people and the western people. In the bus or subway station, Chinese people may choose to play a mobile phone. If there is people who read the book, other may think the person just act in public.  However, we can see many westerners read books everywhere. If this state of affairs had lasted, China would not have the ability to compete with others anymore. It is not just to say frightening things just to raise an alarm.

        We can hardly be free from the influence of the situation. Maybe we are just ordinary people, but we can try our best to learn from the successful people with good sense of value or the good books. What we need is just a healthy value. We may not be able to be successful but we can enrich our inner life.
