How to make friends

We all know that friends are very important. If you have more friends, it actually means that you have a widen thinking and a better future. However, the primary is that you have the ability to make friends. Making friends may be quite easy for some people, as they have the innate passion to communicate with others, and they become better at making friends through their untiring practice in their life. However, it's quite a difficult problem for some other people. Unfortunately, I am one of them.
I like to play basketball. However, in case of my current research, I may only play it twice a week. Although I like basketball, when I play with others, I always show serious and don't like to communicate with others. I admire the people who are passionate and active in the basketball court. However, I can't do it. Maybe I need more outdoor practice to make me more outgoing. Why do I like playing basketball? Because It is a teamwork sports, we need cooperate with others to win. Besides, I can make some friends in the process. I know what I should do, but I can not control myself to do it. Maybe this is the so-called natural instincts. I am eager to have more friends and communicate with others naturally. Suddenly, I realize that communication is a skill that also needs practice, I gradually lost my communication ability in my high school, and now I may need more practice and stay with the people who are good at communications.Learning from others is a better and quicker way for me to improve myself.Do you have the same situation, my friends?

- I used to be very shy so that I can't get along with strangers. I suffered a lot each time when I had to speak with someone that I don't know. When I went to college in 2005 as a freshman, my face is easy to flush because I don't know what I should say to other people. But I forced myself to talk with different people because I became an English tutor to make money. Now I have no difficulty in communicating anymore. So I suggest you compell yourself to go outside and make new friends.
