guilty misery confusion

Guilty:
I signed a contract with an Indian customer for one set plough mixer, we dont make this kind of mixer, so before signing the contract, I am always thinking we will just buy one set from others then deliver to customer. But after getting the deposit, boss insisted we make this mixer to lower the cost, so i can only agree with them.
The delivery time on the contract is 20 working days, the date we got the deposit is on 29th, June, but until now, the machine is still in production, not finished yet.... I really dont know what to say, I have tried my best to comfort my customer, but who can bear such a long production period just for one set of mixer??? so i really feel very sorry for him.
Misery:
From the beginning of this contract, I told them this customer is very nice, and we have talked about the further two sets of the same mixer, all are ok just wating for the first set to be delivered then we sign contract for another two orders, price, machine details are both ok, so this one is really important to me, coz i know any minor mistakes on this mixer means the lose of another two orders!!!
But all of my efforts are in vain...Boss decided the first one to be made by ourselves, he only cares about money and never think about long term business. Then from the beginning of July till now, 80 days past, machine still not ready... Does all the boss the same? only cares about money, no any sense of responsibility?
Customer is in Shanghai now, and will come to our company tomorrow, I really dont know how to face him, i feel tooo sorry for him and tooo embarrased....
Confusion:
Since the time i come here, the customes i met are all very good, we are very good friends before placing the order, then after delivery, I bet all of them hate me or at least my company. I lost all of them whether for machine quality or after sale service....I am tooo miserable on this, and always feel tooo tooo tooo much sorry for my before and current customers. I dont know when we begin to do business like this, i hate this, really hate this....
There are two sentences which are spoken by our boss frequently, which i feel disgusted:
1. all of the world are cheating now, if we dont, we will be starve to death, so we have to.
2. there are too many ppl in China, and too many colleague students every year, if you dont like the way i am doing, just go, we can find others tooo much easily...
I dont know now i am disappointed with this place only or the whole industry, all the things i see here are bad, pessimistic, disappointing, i am not sure whether i still have the passion and courage to start again in another company, in this industry...

- I can see and feel how bad your feeling is, if i were you, it's surely a difficult decision to make.
I confuse that what does your colleague think about this company, why they would stay and what's the main reason for them to stay there? are your salary high there? if not, why you choose to stay? is there any reasons ? In my own opinion, i would not agree to your boss's view, that's wrong.

- cestlavie: I can see and feel how bad your feeling is, if i were you, it's surely a difficult decision to make.actually here, ppl just comes and goes... i still remember one night in the office, two workers said this to our boss before they leave: if one ppl disagrees with you, its his fault, if two ppl disagree with you, its their fault, if too many ppl all disagree with you, you should think about what causes this....

and here,ppl can be divided into two groups, one are those who has been here for many years, at least three years, and the other is the new comers.For the former, they can not leave coz almost half of their salary are kept by the boss, for the latter, they just come and didnt have such experience here.
While for me, i have been here for one and a half years, and i dont have my salary controlled by him, but my boy friend is here, and he can not leave coz of salary, at least he can not leave in a short time, and this is why i am still here,but i can not bear any more, i am on the way to find a new job now...
