Two years having lapsed, I’m standing at the threshold of the junior year. Looking back on the day I stepped into the college, I have to say I’ve changed a lot. During the past two years, I endeavored to seek as much knowledge as possible. Today I need to design a blueprint for my future based on my interests and knowledge. In the junior year, I should carry out my plan to pursue the masters’degree. I need to choose my favorite subject and school. Temporarily I want to apply for the translating department of Peking University but some of my seniors suggested me altering my goal because it was relatively difficult to achieve. Maybe I need to inquire more information about that. As for my future job, since I love English, I’m eager to denote my whole life to careers concerning English. After graduating as a Master, I’d like to find a job in Beijing as a teacher, an editor or a translator. Of course I must learn other subjects such as psychology, journalism, computer, etc. Moreover, I hope to find the perfect gentleman with whom I will spend my rest life as the wedding vow” for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, so long as we both shall live.”In addition, I always fancy an opportunity to go abroad, but currently my financial condition is not favorable. So I hope to have some foreign experiences. I always believe that your effort will surely pay off sooner or later. Also, I have confidence in my competence; as long as I work hard, I will attain my destination.
