Should We Ban The Fireworks In Cities?

979 views. 2009-7-5 10:41 |

It was really thrilling news for the urban citizens that the fireworks are allowed for several days during the New Year. Among those people, there are ones who just got known of the beauty of the fireworks from the books or movies and ones who got sight of the beauty from their remote childhood memory. After so many years’ suppression of fireworks, they go directly to their dreams without a second thought. In my opinion, we should ban the fireworks in cities and I am sure most people will agree with me after the impulsion of illusive happiness if they consider the actuality.

Are people really happy? Yes, maybe. They are thrilled to see that the fireworks banged impressively in every corner of the cities, and the sky is lightened, leaving no darkness . The night sky is full of fireworks displays, blooming and colorful. It seemed as if our lives had never been so boisterous and the busy life outside will keep our inside heart away from loneliness. On that point, the fireworks really do a favor to  people’s dull life.

However, after the visual enjoyment flash away, people start to come to themselves. We find out fireworks means more than that. They are confronted with a lot of trouble which are caused by the fireworks. The continual bang of the firework are driving a lot of people crazy, especially those who need to work during the holiday and the olds who deadly need sleep and so on. It is also a fact that the air pollution is far more serious, which damaging people's health to a great extent. What’s worse, people’s life and property are endangered, for the fireworks are easy to cause fire in the city with a dense population. Only in this year, there are hundreds of people die from fire caused by fireworks.

It is a crazy life I have to say, playing fireworks in cities. In fact, people are so longing for the fireworks that they paid painfully for miscalculation of fireworks. No pain, no gain. This time it’s more reasonable for us to ban the fireworks in cities.
