I’ve taken oral English class for three semesters.

Our teacher is Jeff for the former two semesters. He came from California, America. Being in his class we always had a lot of fun together. However, it was said that he only stay in our school for one year, which means we would have a new teacher for the new semester（Now it turned out to be a rumor because Jeff is still here but not our oral English teacher any more.）.

I’ve been wondering about the new teacher ever since I knew about it.

In this semester, our oral English class is the first class on Monday. I went to the classroom, and then a man came in. At the first sight of him I thought he was a foreign student came to the wrong class.

He must come from the Middle East! That’s my impression of him.

However, he then introduced himself to us that he is our teacher Benjamin and he came from England! So astonished! After a serious observation I had to admit that even though his hair is black he looks European. I was totally wrong!

Like all British, he likes soccer. He always stays up late or wakes up early to watch football. Living in China makes him a totally Chinese football fan. He praises Chinese football players and he supports Beijing Guo’An, which was very funny because my classmates who are also football fans don’t take care of Chinese football.

He said that he likes to do housework and cook. But you would never believe what mistakes he made that day! It’s so funny! He was wearing his T-shirt inside out and he didn’t notice that until some of my classmates pointed it out. He laughed at it with us.

Anyway, I hope to have a nice time in his class!
