Yesterday,I went to English corner for the first time! I encountered a host of students being good at spoken English. At the beginning of this activity, some people were voluntry to introduce themselves to the rest.They spoke English fluently ,easily and confidently. I appreciated them,but at the same time I felt a litter upset because my spoken English is not good. And then, we were divided into many groups including four persons in each group according to the same number of our cards. In my group,there was a very excellent girl. She spoke english fluently and expressed her views on topics at her will. When it turned to me ,I hardly spoke a word and I thought again and again, and finally I spoke in Chinese:"让我再想想".The girl told us that at the beginning ,she was not better than us,but her spoken english was improved after taking part in english corner for many times.She also said that you did not give up and did persist.
That night,we had a good time.I also decided to participate into english corner next time.I hope that my spoken english will be enhanced!
