What is the essence of Service Marketing?

    As we discussed before, customers are increasingly shrewd, products difference is reducingly less and less, and competition is becoming fierce, Service marketing is now paid attention, and managers suddenly began to be aware of the crucial differentiation relies on PEOPLE and the service people bring to their customers.

    Then all the companies rush to build their service departments, and recruit their service men.

When service is becoming a commodity, how do we sell them out outstandingly and differently while securing our profits?

    Joe Girard, who holds the Guinness World Record for being the world’s greatest salesman, shared with us his experiences.

    The first principle is to love your customers body and soul, because it is they who buy your products, bring you money and get you commission. Yes, there are always someone who is not likeable, when what you should do is to check your behavior, and treat them right. So just love your customers sincerely and thank them from your deep heart.

    The following is about service. People are sick to death sitting around in the office department, so just send out your mechanics, and give your customers swift, decided, and unconstrained services. If your customers are in need, just break your back to service them. Some maybe ask why he can get mechanics power so quickly? The answer is he treated the mechanics as if they were his customers and he loved them and what’s more he let them know that he loved them. He would invite them for meals and invite their families for barbecue once a year. He told them he really appreciated them.

    He did not tell much, but I think his key to success is that treat your every resource sincerely, no matter who they are. Luck will come to knock at your door, unexpected!Service marketing is not just send some mechanics to repair, it is the bridge to next purchase.So just do it body and soul!

I totally agree with u,yes,the service department is getting more and more important in every company.Coz in this recession,the overseas's partners like winnowing out,they perfer to hunk the company not only high-quality but the best service as well.That's the point!BTW,i have seen JG's show in person this year ,his speech was fulled of passion,energetic,enthusiam....That was really amazing.
