How to be more competitive ?

I feel very tired these days ,because of the heavy works.
i can not refuse it ...because it was my job
now i worked in a software company ,although i was gratuated from a software college
but my major is mould design and manufacture ,someway ...i do not like my major ,
when i was in the sophomore, i told my counsellor that i want to go to the english
class ...and want to learn english in the shcool ...i give a lot of the list about
i do not like my current major , i do not understand what the teacher said ,and i
really do not know how to learn it well ,so many things that i can not understand ...
and then i said ... i like english ,maybe i can learn it well ,if i choose this major
i think i will be good than the current major .
But the counsellor tell me ...to a girl this major is very good ,if you learn it
well ,when you gratuated , you can find a good job ,just because so many girls do not choose
this mojor , if you choose it ,so you can being more competitive ...
so she resufed my required , i feel very sorrow about it ...
i have no choice ,so just go on my current major .
when i gratuated i did not find a job about my major ,by the way , it none of business
of my major .
time flies ,nothing changed ... changed my age.
now i worked in a software company ,but i do not have any basic about how to design
about the soft...now i just learn it little by little ...
anyway ,i try to do so many job ...and learn more different kind of industry ...
none of the job i was very profeesional ... i just experience it ...
now i really know how to be more competitive ...
if you experience more and learn more .. ok just look back and think about which you want to it better
just insist on it and be more profeesional ...that is the point of your worth.
so choose a job then insist on it .

- No matter what the major is, learning well is an important element to be competitive. I think it's much difficult to change our major at school. We learn more from various experiences indeed, and know ourselves better.

- One of my friend is same to you. He majored in machinery, but he was crazy about design very much. When he was in the third year, he gived up his major and turned to learn design. Of course, he also graduated from school smoothly. I do not approve people to imitate this way. After all, not everyone can work on it. I just wanna say:"try your best to reach your goal regardless of anything else if you are really crazy about it."

- Most of us don't know what is the most suitable job for us when we graduated from school.Howerver,after two or three years working experience,I believe many people slowly realize what they need.
My best friend whose major is English,worked as a test engineer in a US company. She decides to resign in the middle of this year,because she finds that the promotion space of testing is limited and she hopes that her job can make full use of what she learned in the college.
Anyway,to figure out your life goal and persist on doing what you choose,you will be successful sooner or later. Good luck!

- If you want to choose another major I think your counsellor can't stop that,in my college if you want to change your major you just have to choose the classes of the major you like.But to be a competitive person I think it is just the need of every major.
