How to deal with such problem?

The last year ,when I was going to get married ,one of my college classmates planned to
give me some money for celebrating my marriage!But at last ,she forgot it and did not give me
such money!
This year,she was going to get married.I did not know whether I gave money to her!Maybe
she thought that I had received her money and should give her celebrating money!
I did not pay much attention to her money but I could not tell her directly that I did not get
her money last year!What would you do if you came across such problem?
