Fair or Unfair?

My husband's younger sister gave birth to a baby girl on 22nd,October,2011.Mother-in-law was not

so happy as she expected her daughter to own a baby boy!She was not happy when I gave birth to my

daughter!What a "funny" person!

Mother-in-law had asked me how much money I would give her daugher when she gave birth to a

baby!I replied that I gave the same money as her daughter gave me!But such old woman did not show

happiness .She said that I could give her daughter 2000 RMB when her daughter gave my child 1000RMB.

Fair or Unfair?

Why should I give so much money to the younger sister?After all .she is aunt!I did not know the idea

of such old woman!

I did not know why the family of my husband's elder brother would like to give the baby girl 2000 RMB

while they gave my child 1000 RMB!I felt it was a joke!Both of the couple worked while I stayed at home

taking care my daughter!

Do you think it is a fair or unfair thing?

Reply snowflying 2011-10-23 21:53: dear girl, firstly calm down your mood. i think in a family,especially in a big family with several sisters and brothers. surely some troubles to deal with these family's things to a daughter-in -law. but dear girl, as a member and a wife of your husband, to handle your mother-in-law well is must, otherwise the big family will have no good comfortable relationship, thus the son-your husband will be difficult and unhappy. thinking it as a second way to try,money is not so important, if you have a honest heart to treat them, they should be understanded. i remember a say: the upright official is also difficult to judge the family rutines things. so not so clear in family troubles, do a generous wife, maybe you will find it's ok. beg your pardon please, i only let you think this question in another way. actually you are a wise wife,right?

I think logically, it's unfair. But like I said, it's never about fair or unfair.
