Today I saw some interesting words in our QQ group by chance. Someone sighed with emotion, “As we can work so hard without any salaries now, I can’t image how hard-working we will be when we take this job with payment!” However, our superior Hillary saw things differently. She didn’t take it for granted that people can work harder with the drive of profits. When asked for the reason, she just left a simple sentence “you’re too young “, without any further explainations.
This topic immediatly arouse my interest. Since the first day I joined A-Team, I believed that not everyone can hold on. Now, it really surprised me that EVERYONE has sticked it out. I couldn’t help thinking about what on earth pushed us to work so hard every now and then. Economists said, “Financial gains is the ultimate impulse to a economic-man.” How can we get ourselves enlightened everyday even though we seemed to have no gains?
I am not trying to explain this issue by putting forward many iterms like “a,b,c”; I just want to share some very personal ideas with you all.
One of the deep impressions this 15-day experience left on me is the magic power of teamwork. Although one may walk faster by himself, he can go further when he is in a team. Many of us have found out that we can achieve something within a team, while we may never believe we can do them by ourselves(Just considering typing A to Z and Z to A for more than 2000 times without any companion!) . Many of the time, I had the feeling that “we’re in the same boat”. We can easily feel that the “boat” is a little out of balance when some team members are absent. Just as today’s case. We missed four members, and didn’t have a single meeting to exchange our ideas. The team seemed to be not in so good a condition, lacking of vigor. Everyone can feel the differences. We only cherish things when we have losed or are losing them. I think it is the feeling of being together that keeps us moving. Anyhow, we can be sure that we are not fighting alone.
