“Goodbye” is not so good a word. I hate to say it, but I have to.

One or two days ago, when I saw Wangying’s log on our parting, I felt some kind of blue as I commented. I didn’t feel so sad or lonely then because I was still in the office, with everyone in sight and their voices and laughters in my ears.

Today, things are different, I had supper alone, went to library alone and typed alone.  I was not so sufficiently inured to this lonely feeling after spending 17 wonderful days with you all. I tried to have myself occupied with heavy works such as GRE vocabulary to avoid thinking about the hard moment. It did work sometimes, but once I was free, I couldn’t help recalling the happy days we spent together, and that made my heart ach.
