I saw someone mention speaking in the public in their blogs, and some of my introverted team members are also haunted by the question how to make a good public speech. We English major students have to do many a presentation during our study, thus compartively speking, we had more practice. Now I want to share something about this topic.

About topic.

Your speech must concerntrate on an diea. Don't go too far. Take our trainning for example, we get topic everyday and you may generate more than one idea in your mind about this broad topic, but do not talk them one by one. Just choose one of them and explain it deeply and sufficiently.

About body languages

Natural and appropriate gestures can make your speech easily understood and facilitate your interactions with the audience. It can make the speaking more lively.

About stage fright

It is a problem. Some speakers can not overcome it and it even affects the use of body languages -- someone keep stiff for stage fright when speaking, so it is impossible for them to use bodylanguages. I think the right attitude is the key to overcome the nervous mood. When you stand on a stage and face to no matter how many audience, you are the one ready to communicate with them. We everyone has the eaqual rights to communicate, so why do you feel nervous? speaker and audience are in a equal position instead of a slavish one.
