the ass and the grasshopper

Ass having heard some Grasshoppers chirping, was highly enchanted; and , desiring to pessess the same charms of melody,demanded what sort of food they lived on, to give them such beautiful voice. They replied, "The dew." The Ass resolved that he would only live dew, and in a short time died of hunger.
We know the "ass" has another meaning: the people who is dull. From this story, we can see it. The ass doesn't know that he is different from the grasshopper. he just wants to a beautiful voice, so he simply imitates grasshopper. He doesn't know that infact, even though he eats the dew, he wouldn't have beautiful voice yet, because he is an ass.
He prefers to die of hunger than giving up his dream, I appreciate it very much. However if he uses his perseverance to do other things, he will be an excellent ass.
Will you have a specific goal? Go on! Don't waste your time. Believe it or not, you are more intelligent than the ass.
