Share some Learning experience

Although I'm not yet a so-called master in English learning,I 'm gald to share
my English learning experience----hoping some resonation with you.
A.Reading:
1.knowing why you are reading----what you are reading to find out
2.Must read something slowly to remember each important stop and understand
each important idea
3.Somethings should be read quickly throughout
4.In some of your reading,you should change your speed from fast to slow and slow to fast,as you go along,you will need to read certain pages quickly and then
slow down and do more careful reading when you come to important ideas which must be remembered
B.speaking:
1.the basic element is master a certain amount of vocabulary
2.be bolder,have thick skin,don't be afraid of making mistakes
3.be good at imitating,although my oral English is not so ideal
C.Listening:
1.lisening to standard VOAor CNN,what I listened are casettes and mp3 recorded by 碟中碟co.
2.take enough dictation,which is the most effective method of improving your listening ability
3.If you wanna get a satisfying score in CET,you should choose a suitable reference book.
4.The speed of CET4&6 is much slower than CNN&standard VOA,so if you can understand English broadcasting,don't look down upon CET.I met my Waterloo
just coz the slow speed made me absent-minded in the court.
D.Writing:
Write at least an article in English weekly.
E.Translating:
1.accumulate enough vocabulary
2.notice the mini difference between synonyms.
3.take Chinese-English Translation Pracice
In short words,my methods are traditional,which must exsist many errors,welcome

- I heard such idea,too.Listening to U.S.A. TV will be helpful to your listening ,but
the speed is not suitable to green hand.
