It is permanent theme for human, elusive yet intriguing. Throughout history, it has baffled and kept arousing the interests of generations of philosophers.

Perhaps, no single person in this planet can ever venture to boast that he/she has already concluded the quest. After all, the capacity of life is too immense for us. There are still various contents of life left there awaiting us to explore.

What is life?

No definite answer could be sought after. Everyone can feel it, but no one can tell it for sure. It is intangible, airy and traceless.

Some say, life is a battle from cradle to grave. It is sorrow. You will have to overcome it, though the process is fatiguing and long-lasting. You should be ready to confront obstacles coming from all directions and at all times. Be perseverant, fight the battle valiantly and you will triumph at the very end of life.

Some say, life is an adventure. Dare it. There is no such thing as destiny. It is merely an excuse for laziness and cowardice. Be daring to explore what life has in stock for you. Keep in mind the new possibilities of life are created by yourself. Bitter or sweet, accept what your choice has brought you and keep proceeding ahead.

Some say, life is a promise. Fulfill it. Maybe in everyone’s preexistence, he/she have made a promise. In the after life, variously laden we move through life, fulfilling our respective promises. Sometimes, it is to repay a certain person’s love which you have owed. Sometimes, it is to resume the work which we have left unfinished. Take your life seriously. Keep reminding yourself of your promise. Don’t disappoint those to whom you have made a pledge.

Some say, life is costly. Care for it. Life is much more fragile than we might think. Poverty, illness, depression, these are all enemies of life. Catch hold of it, cherish it. Perhaps, just in one blink of en eye, you may have to take departure from those who are of the most importance to you and to whom you are most reluctant to say goodbye. Life is unpredictable. We have no idea at what second it will take a sharp turn against us. What you can do is only to treasure every single moment you have, so that when you leave this world there is no room to repent.

Bear in your heart, life is not a dreary journey. Though you can do nothing about the length of it,  you can change its breath and depth.
