Today,I want to share a story with my friends who have been keeping on writing. According to a study carried out by psychologists. Putting down our feelings and experiences trough writing diary, letters, blogs or books can be good for our health. Psychologists assured that writing can not only cure wound of mind, but also help us to overcome pains of our bodies.
This healthy work has attracted more and more supporter around the world. Writing has been proved theoretically and practically to have medical effect. We, while writing, need not pursue expression skills intentionally. A pen and a blank paper are enough to make us feel comfortable in heart.
If we sunk into pressures, writing can help us to be relaxed for a while. We can set free our thoughts and feelings from inner world. With the slipping of tips of pen on paper, we can get rid of thick fog in our hearts, subdue horror of our inner heart and eradicate the deep roots of sorrow and pain.
Human beings began to curve letters and characters into bones of tortoises and animals from ancient time. During the evolution of Homo sapiens, it was a crucial chain for them to link thoughts with symbol characters. Writing has been regarded as the extension of cognitive ability of human beings. With the evolution of mankind, characters have been developing. So, we can say, the process of writing is just the process of finding.
Thinking is always slower than sentiment and writing is slower than thinking. When sentiment, thinking and writing converge together, we can express inner feeling by words, led by rational. There is a kind of resemble triangle relationship among writing, brain and immune system too. Only if this kind of relationship become stable can we gain balance conditions of physical and mental.
Writing the act itself can improve our health. If the content of our writing is, to some extent, meaningful, then its medical effect will be better. According to scientific study, writing can lower blood pressure, promote lymph and blood circulation, enhance the immune reaction of our bodies.
Researchers once carried out experiments on a group of asthma patients. They found that after noting down their painful experiences, the function of their hearts and lungs had been improved 19%.
Writing endows us strengthes to disclose our dark secret and can help us express what we think about. Only if we can acknowledge we have been at a loss, can we extricate ourselves from such conditions, can we fumble around and find methods to gain double healthy of mental and physical finally.
