Why not kill two birds with one stone?

Yesterday, I was surprised when receiving a call from an English Training School called EF.The sweet voice of the eloquent operator of this school made my heart thumping. She invited me to take part in a free English Corner organized by them. I remembered that I once left them my mobile phone number three years ago. After so long a time, they still could find me easily. This was amazing! I began to admire their capacity of soliciting potential customers. If this happened two year ago,I would accept her invitation and take part in this activity as soon as possible. But now, I found taking parting in such activities was somewhat nonsense. I discover a better way to practice English. The characteristic of this method is letting foreigners pay for your learning? Sounds crazy! It is feasible! Nowadays, there are more and more foreigners traveling around China. What they want to learn about is the real culture and special aspect of China. We are locals and we know what happened and happens around us. We learn of every story happened in classic protective buildings. So, we have advantages in possessing the knowledge of native customs. we can grasp the opportunity to integrate us with tourism in our leisure time, First, you must apply for a travel guide certificate and this process will cost you about 900 Yuan and about a piece of time of half a year. Second, you can recommend yourself to some travel agents and then wait for the showing up of foreigners. This process is akin to wait for a hare under a tree. Haha! Just a joke.! What you should do is more? You must collect introductions of every scenery spots, the history of your city, food style and culture features. Translate them into English and recite them frequently until you can ejaculate them fluently. Besides. you should remember some oral English to deal with picking up guests at airport or checking in Hotel or ordering some dishes, etc.A good start means an ideal end. After you finish these preparations, you can have more confidence when facing with foreigners and the last thing you should do is opening your mouth and torture those poor foreigners with your stuttering pronunciation. The first several batches of your tourists must be victims of your poor expression. But foreigners are always very clever. They can guess what are you going to expound. So, take it easy. Just insist on and when you see foreigners are raising their eyebrows or showing a countenance of confusion. You can just stop and change another way to express your meaning again. Only if you are sincere, will foreigners not fail to give you tips. This should be called killing two birds with one stone. On one side, you apply English knowledge you learned. On the other hand, your teachers pay you for your learning. I remember the second batch of tourists gave me a tip of 2000 Yuan for three days’ service. Is this fantastic? But I think this knack works only in big cities. As to those who are still in second-tier or third-tier cities or just in towns. The advice I gave you is moving to large cities.
