Thank you, Mr President!

Generally speaking, the past Spring Festivial of Year of the Tiger was happay.Family reunions  have successfully refreshed us though the preparations for meals were not an easy job, and for those who head  home from faraway places, struggling for  train tickets was not  happy experiences, but compared with the expectations of family reunions, it was just a small deal.During Spring Festivial, family reunion means everything, and this is an indispensable content of Chinese culture. As a saying goes: Harmony in the family is the basis for success in any undertaking of it. For a family, it is right. For a nation, it makes sense too. In the past dacades, one of the reasons why Chinese can make progress in its reform and openning up cause lies in the hamonious relationship of its ethnic groups. But it seems that one  so-called friend of us don't want to see the hamonious relationship of Chinese Nationality. Obama met Dalai Lama during the Spring Festivial in a map room of White House. What did they talk about? I don't know. But their purposes are obvious: They are drawing a new map of seperating Tibet from China. Our speaker of Foreign Minister had condemned their nearly secret meeting. But for me, I would "thank" Omaba for his meeting with Dalai Lama. There are three reasons(Mr President, please hold on and don't fell frustrated after I ejaculate my opinnion.)  First, Mr Obama, thank you for your making Chinese to be cool-headed.China is a country who managed to survive from oppressions of  Imperialists in modern history.A new virture has been cultivated in Chinese Nationality during the period, i.e.United together to fight against oppressors. So, your meeting with Dalai Lama reminded us of the cold war mentality. You help us to realize that the threatens form outside world are still existed and we should not treat it lightly. So we should treat with other as brothers as usual and fend off threaten as one person. The principle is simple.Tell you a story which children know it well. This story happened in Britan. There was a tycoon who had a whimsy of establishing a deer reserve in his farmland.Hundreds of deers were intruduced into his reserve and he fed them with superb forage grasses. But, after a while, he found that these deers were all languished and he could not find an effective way to buck them up.Latterly, he accept an advice of a biologist and introduce a wolf into his plant. It worked.Every deer was galvanized and regained its energy immediately. Mr President, this is called Rule of Nature. When a group faces threaten, the members of it  will reunite together to deal with it.Your meeting with Dalai Lama just played the same role of a furious wolf. So, thank you for your considerable thought.Second, I should thank you for your meeting with Dalai Lama in the past Spring Festivial. It was absolute a farce which amused people around the world.Obama is descendant of black man and his vicory in election once was considered as a victory of fighting against segregation in America after notorious slavery system was removed. It seemed that Obama ignored that Dalai Lama is a supporter of Feudal Serf System. So, when i saw the group photo of Obama and Dala Lama, the first word appeared in my mind was sarcastic.A descendant of emancipated slave hugged a  representitive of obsolete salve systerm. The meeting was not only the result of Obama's ignorance of  the history of China, but also the result of Obama's ignorance of the history of America. If Abriham Lincoln knew this arrangement,he would turn around in his tomb.I don't think the meeting of Dalai Lama can reverse the trend of Obama's sliding approval ratings. On the contrary, historians would give Obama a negative comment.Third, I will thank Obama for his meeting with Dalai Lama.Because of this clumsy meeting,a not-so-excelent leader of America appears before the world. Dalai Lama has been a card of western world to be used to interfere inner affairs of China, but the fact is  Dalai Lama has gradually lost his influence on Tibet affairs. Now,even though Dalai Lama come back, his obsolete mind couldn't moblize the masses again. The time has changed.A new system's replacing an old one is the trend of history.Who want to abandon equal social status to backward to slavery system? Obama doesn't want to live such a life, so doesn't Tibet people. The meeting with Dalai Lama attests that Obama is not a strategic leader. On the countrary, he is led by complicated political realtions of America. In order to curb his sliding approval ratings,he had to make such a political pose to please some American people. There is an saying in English. A person who does what he likes is a worker and a person who does what he doesn't like is a labor. Now, it seems that Mr. Obama becomes a labour from a worker. Is it a good thing for America which Lacks of a strategic leader? For those people who are forced to keep away from America, this maybe not a bad news.

My friend, after reading your article,I realize that you  don't know about the whole truth on this issue.
We grew up in China, which is a country where we cannot know about many things in this world. The origin of the words and news in your essay are mainly from the official report of the CPC government.
You never know what happened in Tibet after CPC's army entered Tibet, and why there were many Tibetans fought against the torch relay race in Europe. But the people outside of China know.So we could see why many French policemen just did nothing when they saw the torch was being grabbed.
Gennerally speaking, the international society sympathize Dalai Lama and his people.Otherwise why did every USA president meet with him?Do you think they are just idiots?
Actully they just do what the American people want them to do.

What Dalai Lama want is just the real autonomy in Tibet, which is actually impossible in such a communist country.
So he was put on a label:schismatic group, and we all think he's a bad guy.I think it's so sarcastic.
Do you think the CPC govenment would negotiate with the real schismatics? Then why don't they try to negotiate with the Easten Turkstan organizations?
It's juat a knid of  strategy.

Actually Dalai Lama is just the spiritual leader of the Tibetan buddhism instead of your so-called supporter of Feudal Serf System.
Because of the news locking, perhaps you don't know about what he's said.So you think he wants Tibet to go back to the Feudal Serf System. In fact it's ridiculous.
Nowadays most people in Tibet still believe in him instead of CPC's theories.I've got a cousin, who works in Tibet now.He knows about it vey well.If it's really like what you said,do you think CPC still bother to try to negotiate with him?

Up to 1976,more than ninety percent of Tibetan temples were destroyed, many natives tried to resist. Here I don't want to talk about their final result. You can imagine yourself.
Bancan Lama was imprisoned for about 10 years by Mao,and died young. If Dalai stayed in China,I don't think he could survive till today.
My friend,I don't know if you know about the truth of the history. For we are both young and educated,I think we can discuss it peacefully.
If you don't agree with me,I think we can talk about it later.

Exactly, that's THE AMERICAN PEOPLE want them to do.Moreover the American people also genuinely welcome a united and prosperous China with open arms.Oh,gosh~In that case maybe they're idiots.they really are~

western people had prejudice on China development, they would rather sympathing dalai lama than corcerning about s how s surviver situation of wenchuang earthquake, they have negative impression on CHINA peaceful rise, our president deal with kinds of problem calm and intelligence.in fact,America was afraid of China will be predominace position over the world.its captalism invaded and controlled world economic system,so,obama could arrange troops to iraq for getting petroleum ,to  fight against afganistan for keeping safety,to make trouble about finanical crisis for letting whole world pay for its bill.

It's not that western people don't know about China,It's just that  they just focus on the issues that CPC government don't like foreign people to care about, ignoring the things that the CPC government want to show off to the people of the world.

I just spoke out the truth that some people want most Chinese to forget.I don't complain.
There's a saying:forgetting the past means betrayal. But many young people nowadays almost know nothing about it at all.
I feel so sad for it.

Are you being funny?I guess a lot of junevile know a little about that political turmoil you mentioned. The truth is,I think, they just don't care.Younglings have their own realistic business. It's a tragedy for total people of China, not only for Tibet. No one doubts we lost a lot in that miserable decade. But I think that's why we should let it go and move on instead of living in resentment. It has already been history after all.Never forgeting the past doesn't mean living in the past.
Reply adck 2010-2-22 01:59
I think you're right, many people actually don't care about the truth about it,they only care about themselves and how they can live a better life.
But there's another saying:the history might repeat itself. That's why we should remember the past and take lessons from it.
I admit these years the ways that the CPC deal with  things have changed a lot,but its nature has never changed.
They call themselves so-called public servants, but it seems that both them and us never take it seriously(ha ha...)
If there's one day,we can judge and criticize the things that they did and they do  like it is instead of being forced or half-forced to extol and denounce.
Thus China can be called a great country.
