In the streets of Harbin, even a common pedestrian can talk about the military action of America for hours. Especially through watching the recent battles against Taliban, we know the new images of Special Operation Troops of America. How cool they are! Serving as a commander of such a troop must be a great experience.

Today, I want to tell you there is a cooler special force in a grain depot of  Panjin city, Liaoning Province. The members of this special force are cats. The task of them is catching rampaging rats in the depot .The commander of this special force is a man named as Liu Jianguo. In fact, he is a team leader of the convey of this depot. We all know that rats are rodent who like biting every thing they met into pieces. For a grain depot, rat is one of big threat. In order not to pollute grain, our nation regulates that using rat poison to kill rats in grain depots is strictly prohibited. So, the workers of this depot began to use cats to deal with rats.

Because of the huge number of  rats, more cats are needed. How to keep them? The task was assigned to Liu Jianguo. " It is a piece of cake! " thought Liu Jianguo when he recieved this task. Laterly, he found he had been wrong. Keeping cats is as troublesome as bringing up a child. These cats, about 20 plus, were acconmodated to an unused grarage. In the next morning after he accepted the task, when Liu Jianguo unlocked the garage, he was knocked back by the terrobly mixed smell of cat urine and manure. The floor of garage was covered with a layer of  excrement. After consulting with his colleagues having experiences of keeping cats, he knew that cat litters were ungently needed. After resolving this problem, he found cats prefered to active lonely, they would run  in every directions and hard to manage once the door of their garage was opened. How to train them is necessary. But experienced people told him that cat only have a memory span of 21 days, and he would not succeed in doing it. Liu Jianguo is a stubborn person. He thought of that people always said cat was the teacher of tiger. A tiger can be trained in circus, why can't I train cats to obey my orders. First, he spent more time to stay with these cats and used cat food to cultivate conditional reaction of those cats. Gradually, these cats don't scattered away when he opens the door, they walked and jumped around him for delicious foods. In order to train these cats to be capable in catching mouses, he stuffed cat food into a mouse-shaped toy and then threw it into cat group. These hungry cats torn the cloth toy into rags and ate the food in it. Next, Liu used real mouse to train these cats. At the beginning, these cats were all scared away by real mouses, even some cats were bitten by mouses and this became a butt of the worker's jokes. But Liu didn't gave up, he stopped feeding cats with cat food and provide them with captured rats only.

After every cat mastered the capability of catching mouses, Liu begun to trained them how to cooperate with each other when catching rats. He took heeded of the charactoristic of every cat when taking care of them. He trained those cats with patience as sentinels whose duty is on watch  squating on a high flatform and mews if it found dubious things. He let those cats who like wandering around patrol along the aisles of depot. If hearing the mews of the sentinel cat, they would erect their ears to position objects. After hard working, miracle happens, a real cat legion came into being. They guard the depot successfully from intruding of rats. Now, Liu Jian guo is famous in grain depots system for his success in dealing with rats and he gains a new name: King of the cats. 

From then on, China has her own Hillbilly Cat.
