I am clumsy compared with my peers. Things got worse yesterday when I learned of an Africa monkey, named Bent tail monkey. I think its paws are more dexterous than other monkeys I ever know. What astonished me the most is its ability to use tools.

It can crack a nut open with a stone. First, it judges whether a nut is ripe enough by taping the surface with its tiny fingertip. This reminds me of we human beings pick up ripe watermelons through patting them and listening the voice according to experiences. Bent tail monkey then drop the nuts to the ground. After harvesting enough nuts, it jumps off the bough of the nut tree and picks up the fist-sized nut to a nearby big bolder with a nearly flat surface on the upside. But if you inspect carefully, you can see several little dents strewn on the surface. The nut can be comfortably put on the dent Bent tail monkey lift a stone which is said to be heavier than its body to the height of its shoulder and let it fall right on the nut. Held by the dent, the nut will not slip away when being fiercely hit. Bent tail monkey finally enjoys the scrumptious nut contentedly. After knowing of the monkey’s capability of applying tools, I believe undoubtedly we are relatives of monkeys. But we have abandoned the sustainable lifestyle of the monkey tribe. They only consume ripe fruit and never grasp all fruits greedily like us. They know how to stay with the nature harmoniously while we human beings seem to hurtle into a blind alley by grabbing more, wasting more and destroying more.
