I learnt how to make the steamed bun at last winter vocation, for i love pasta, cake and cake or sth like that.Sometimes i even thought maybe one of my ancestors must have been lived in Northern China before. However my father told me that's not true.Oh, what a pity. In my city it's not so common for people to make steam buns or noodles themselves. So I have to search on Internet for some information. The thing is despite the comprehensive instructions i failed many times. At that time i wanted to give up,but with the help of my aunt who is an excellent cook, finally i made it ! What's more,i never thought it will provide me an opportunity to have more communication with others.Tonight i was invited to visit my foreign teacher(we got to know each other at English corner.)She likes cooking,so do I.Last week i carelessly talked about i made steam buns myself, she was so eager to ask for my phone number and want me to teach her--what a lovely ladyO(∩_∩)O~.We have good night and the buns taste good.
Yet,i found out it takes a long time before i replied her,for i had to search the right works in my head and then organize the structure of the sentence. What is worse, even very normal language always got me stuck. The fundamental reason,i suppose,is lack of practice.Grasping an language is really not a easy task.
PS:two more interesting things:
When i told my foreign teacher give me some hot water, then, you know what? After a minutes ,she handed me some icy water.I mean she thought i said "cold water".well, that's my fault.
Every time i told her what ingredient i needed, the following question she'd asked me was "how much" or" how many",then she showed me kinds of measuring cup or spoon.Actually,i'd like to tell her i do this relying on my feelings.Haha...
