This birthday,i wanna be with you ,mom

When we are little children,our parents,relatives or friends would sent us sweet wishes at our birthday day.We gradually take it for granted that we should be given birthday gift to celebrate our birth.If our parents forget the important day because of the busy work,i suppose,many of us would blame them for their "mistake".But when i grown up,i find out how selfish and naive we are!The very person we should thank is our mom,thank for her ten months' pregnancy,thanks for selfless contribution for their children.So we should try to repay them rather than ask for more thing.Though i don't get married yet and have my own baby,i can empathize with all moms around the world.
In a few more days ,i 'll have my 22th birthday.At that day,i'll be with my mom and cook her favourite dishes,the same thing she does for me.Besides,i wanna prepare a gift.Maybe you can give me some advice?

- The best gift is to be with parents, that is already enough, and it is a surprise if she can receive an unexpected item from you, whatever it is, she will be grateful and very pleasant.

Nothing is more satisfying to a mother than the warm care from her own children. Sometimes that is all they need.
It would be great if you could buy her a gift. Perhaps you can buy some clothes which she likes so that she can wear it to show friends and relatives. Moms like to show off to relatives and say 'my daughter bought me this'.
Cooking her favorite dishes and dining with her would certainly make her happy.

- Actually, it is ok to receive the money from your mother to make her feel better. She feels that as a student, you cannot afford a gift and she feels guilty taking your gift. Money does not matter. It is the caring thoughts that count. Just tell her you will keep that money for some useful purpose. That would not change her gratitude for your gift. She would still feel the sweetness of the gift from her own daughter.
