If your parents don't like your boyfriend (girlfirend), they are strongly oppose you get married with him. but you don't care about your boyfriend's background, you think he is the right person who you are looking for. you can't persuade your parents to accept him. what will you do ? you will break up with him or you will ingore your parent's opinion and get married with him?

- i will talk to my parent calmly to see where is the problem. Never underestimate the background which forms a person`s value and way of thinking. I just think suspend the fight between you and your parent. Continue your relationship and feel you two are really matched or is this people trustworthy?

- That is the problem with over-zealous parents. They think it is easy to find a marriage partner, set their standards sky high as if people are lining up to get married. They just don't know how difficult it is and they lost touch with reality. It is good to be careful and sensible, but sometimes, you have to take calculated risks.
Listen, it is your life and you would be living with this person for the rest of your life. The is no guarantee in any marriage no matter how good the man is. Should he be poor now does not mean he can't be wealthy later. Should be from unenviable or doubtful background does not mean he would be an undesirable person. Most important is your own thought and evaluation of him. As long as he is a trustworthy and good hearted person, capable of having a good future and loves you, then there is no need to think too much. Just make your own decision.

- This is a very common phenomenon in China, Parents are willing to interfere into children's marriage, but i think this is not complete bad thing. sometimes, we should listen to our parent's advise, as we are lack of experience.

Second, This isn't my story, but the key person in this story is my sister, she asked me if i were her, which choice i will be made. but actually i have a prejudice against this issue, i can't draw a fair conculdsion to her/my parents. that's the reason why i wrote this passage. it's not a funny thing to me/ my family. i just want to know other's opinion.
