My First Passage

This is my first passage since I have registered dioenglish and opened my blog.
How to improve my poor English especially my poor written English? That practice makes perfect may be the truth I think. Oral English and written English are both of importance. But right now, right here, I just wanna practice my written English.
Maybe I can write one or two passages that happened around me or what I am thinking about. But what I will met with is how long I can keep on with the good habit. If only I can persit with it, I have confidence that I will succeed.
Thanks to dioenglish which provide me with such a great platform to let me practice. I'll try my best.
If somebody would like to come to help me to point out my grammar mistakes or tell me some good sentences. I would appreciate your help.

The following will be my first essay after I registered in dioenglish and opened my blog just now.I have been long thinking about how to improve my poor english skills,especially my written ones.Practice makes perfect may be tell the answer.Both the oral english and written english are of utter importance. But I just want to practice the latter one.
From now on,I will write some essays about the things happen around me and also some of my thoughts.The primary problem comes to how long I can keep this useful habit.I am confident that my written skills will be improved so long as I persist in doing so.
Great thanks for the wonderful platform dioenglish provides for me to practise,and I will try as hard as I can.
Any correction is welcomed here,and I will appreciate it if you can give me some suggestions and useful tips in addition.
p.s:
first,you should keep your sentences balance.不要头重脚轻or the opposite.
secondly,you ought to get rid of your chinglish thoughts,and write in a totally english thinking format.In addition,it is better for you to use symphonies to express the same meaning,thus avoiding making the essay too dull to read through.Last but not least,you can try to use some 连接词,you use only two'but's in your essay.there are many you can choose from,e.g:however ,moreover,in addition,then ,and ,......
tips:
英语力求简洁明了，很多中文里的形容词什么的一大堆的那种，在翻成英语是要统统删掉，我也不知道为什么 ，反正外国人就是很不喜欢罗嗦就对了。还有就是最好长短句夹杂着写，这样读起来有节奏，比较好。
我写的肯定也有很多问题的，你将就着看看哈~

- As I see it,you have been away from english for a long time.So the key for you to progress is to read more and listen to more.No matter how much you keep in touch with english, you should at least be in an english surrounding for a while each day.英语是需要保持的，只有保持住才能有进步。。expect your next essay~bye for now~

I mean if I do so, I will have something to speak. You know, I can have something to say,which word I can use to express my thoughts. I can't image those who even can't write English well can speak very well. Dumb English because those people have good skills to pass exams such as CET4 or CET6.Can they write elegant articles?I don't think so.But I'm sure they can get 550 or even 600 points in CET exams.I think this is the real reason why many people learn English but can't speak English well. They can read passages and choose right answers, but maybe they can't write.You have to admit that some words I know them but I can't use them. So it's impossible to write as well as say them.
Those who can speak well, I mean talk beautifully,must have a good command of written English. So written English is the basis of learning English I think.

- dnapei: Yeah the mastery of good English as evident in one's writing is the base for good oral communication. And it may require still other abilities to be aYeah, I agree with you to some degree. The ultimate goal for us is to not only have good writing ability, but also express our thought to others and have no obstacle to the communication, right? I think this website provides a good platform to practice written English. As to the oral English we can practice in another way. Don't you think so?
