Today I read some sentences but I don't quite understand them. Could anyone help me to translate them or paraphrase them in simple sentences. Many thanks! The sentences are as follows:
"There are in this world blessed souls, whose sorrows all spring up into joys for others; whose earthly hopes, laid in the grave with many tears, are the seed from which spring healing flowers and balm for the desolate and the distressed."

- By the way, I'm reading Uncle Tom's Cabin. These sentences come from Chapter 9. I don't know what "spring up into" mean here. And I don't understand the structure of "are the seed from which spring healing flowers and balm for the desolate and the distressed" and what the word "which" refer to.
