20 Reasons Why The English Language Is Hard To Learn:
1) The bandage was wound around the wound.

- wherein lies the great differences from chinese, some of the words can be used as both a noun and a verb, something of the usage of ancient chinese, which makes sentences hard for starters and movers in English-learning to understand. I suppose, in china, we have studied English over 6 or more years, but seldom did we use English in real life but exams, which helps account for our poor spoken English. Learning a language hangs on practice a lot. Much obliged for your kind sharing with us.

Those sentences does show the intricacies of the English language. A dictionary may help. You should split up the sentences and try understand the same word but with difference meanings.
