When I was a student in Middle school, that was the first time I got to know the exotic language---English,and immediately after the first English class I took fancy to it,also to my first English teacher.
From that on,we followed Miss Zhou to learn words, sentences, pronunciation, listening and so on all the basics of English. Moreover,Miss Zhou makes a piont of reciting, not only the words but also the text we have learned. We are required to recite text before her during the reading time every moring, and I'm always the first one,of course Ican recite them fluently.
For sure, reciting can cultivate our sense of language, and it is helpful for us to accumulate knowledge. But time is marches on,the essence of Marxism is go along with time.Do we really need to recte a very long and meaningful passage any more?I do maintain we should act more flexible in learning language.Th problem is not I don'y know how to say but what to say,we have to broaden our horizon in veery bearings.
We recite everthing we interested or something will be inevitable in our learning project?I doubted is a perfect wat, because it is impossible for us to recite them all.And secondly, our memory has more or less limit. Most of all, maybe it is a waste of time.
I really not try to complicate this question intentionally. All I want to do is to find out a more effective method which is not boring but full of exciting.
